How to Find Cheap Prices on Brand New Clothing & Housewares

| Comments (1)

Two of my most recent shopping discoveries have been the Kohl's online department store and Goodwill retail stores (& online auction sites).

Here's why I like them...

By signing up for Kohl's online e-mail alerts you get sales fliers and information about clearance priced blow-outs delivered right to your e-mailbox. (And they typically offer free shipping too!). Where else can you get brand-new clothes for as low as $2.19 apiece?!

Speaking of low-priced clothing... We recently got a new Goodwill Store here in Franklin. I don't know if it's because of the type of people who tend to give their stuff away in Franklin (or Williamson County) or what, but there is some REALLY nice stuff for CHEAP in there! Lots of great finds... and on a regular basis too.

Among my many "finds" was a like-new $78 Liz Claiborne wool blazer for just $4.39! I'd encourage you to check out the Goodwill store nearest you -- sooner rather than later.

If you don't have a Goodwill store near you... well, then we cordially invite you to come visit ours!

But, if you're not up for that, then be sure to check out Goodwill's online auction site where they run a little "mini-eBay" of sorts by auctioning off all kinds of items that have been pulled from Goodwill's vast inventory of donated goods. You'll find everything from unique one-of-a-kind items, to estate pieces, high-tech electronics, and more.

The best news: All revenues from their online auction sales go to fund education, job training, and job placement programs for people with disabilities and other disadvantages.

Come on, won't you help a brother out?...
